The club has installed moorings in two different locations in Majuro lagoon (Eneko, Anemwanot) and yachties can use them freely. By becoming a member, you support the club and help us maintain these mooring year after year, as this represent a large part of our budget.

Races

Becoming a member allows you to participate in the season races.

A number of organizations provide prizes for the races: Marshalls Energy Company, DAR Cafe, Ace’s One Stop gas station and wine merchant, and the stores which give us discounts.

Radio Net Information

Members of the yacht club organize a daily (except Sunday) radio net on VHF Chanel 71 and on AM frequency.

Reciprocal Rights

The Mieco Beach Yacht Club membership card will allow you to have access to yachts clubs around the world. While we don’t have official reciprocal rights with any individual club, we have never heard of anyone being refused admission. For example, when the Vice Commodore Cary Evarts and his wife go to Honolulu, the Waikiki Yacht Club always given a guest membership that lasts the duration of our stay.

That said, if you would like our club to have reciprocal rights with your club, please email us and we’ll send a letter to your club commodore or secretary.
