A large main sail was this week donated to Waan Aelon in Majel (WAM), Canoes of the Marshall Islands, by Kate and Jordan Bigel on the yacht Queen Jane. Kate and Jordan were first in the Marshalls in 2004 and have returned 20 years later, meeting up with quite a few people remembered from their original visit. Lucky for the Canoe House, they switched out their old mainsail, which is still in pretty good shape, for a new one. We called WAM Director Alson Kelen and he was very happy to hear there was a sail available, so some of the WAM crew drove over to the RRE Shoreline and picked it up! A win-win for everyone.
